This past Sunday with my cousin in town, we drove down to Huntington Beach to the Old World Octoberfest. In addition to the food, drink, music and dancing this event had Dodson dog races. The “wiener dogs” were dashing as their owners cheered them on. My grandkids enjoyed the festivities. Most Octoberfest events run from the middle of September til the end of October.
