Page 8 December 8, 2016 Purrrfect Companions Have a brighter holiday when you adopt a new feline friend. For the month of December, adoption fees for all kitties six months old and up are half off! This holiday season, His Royal Highness Prince Harry is offering the rare opportunity to cozy up to the crown. Harry was found outside alone and it became clear very quickly, however, that Harry was no ordinary street cat. With his beautiful, fluffy, white and orange markings and upper-class demeanor, it was clear that Harry was the heir to the throne. As such, Harry is always the first cat in the household to dine on his Fancy Feast, and the first to discover and test out new toys. Fitness is important to the handsome Prince, so he likes to run laps around his circular scratching post and climb to the top of the tallest cat tree. At night, the Prince prefers a bed fit for a future king and snuggles up to his foster human, purring loudly to demonstrate how satisfied he is with himself. The Prince requires company and would prefer to go to a home with another kitten or young cat--or better yet, for his foster sibling, the beautiful Lady Anne, to accompany him. Lady Anne of Los Angeles was found alone, huddled under an air conditioning unit outside of a restaurant parking lot. She immediately made her royal presence known and has been purring and playing ever since. The Lady would love to make your holidays cozier and happier by demonstrating her many refined talents, such as climbing cat trees or doing somersaults with her foster sibling, Prince Harry, and then snuggling up on her human’s neck for long, satisfying naps. Lady Anne is a Tortoiseshell kitten with fabulous markings that will go well with all your home décor and fashionable attire, as well as with any resident cats. Miso and Mochi Edith how she’s using the litterbox, or how she’s climbing the cat tree, or how you should be petting her right now! Elsie loves humans, but still needs time to wrestle and play with another kitten, so she would love to be adopted with her sibling Edith. They get along very well and love to play, wrestle, and snuggle. Perhaps you’re a superhero in search of sidekick? Edith wants you to know she is very qualified. Smart, funny, fast and nimble and being a super-good cuddler are just a few of her great qualities and she’s sure she can see right into people’s souls. At least, Edith likes to look deep into people’s eyes and really tries to understand who they are. Edith has the personality and look of a Russian Blue, with faint stripes like a tiger. She likes to hide under the blanket and then jump out suddenly! When she sees people, she is so excited that she runs right up to you and instantly starts purring. That is, unless Edith has something very important to do, like play in the tunnel or chase her sister Miso and Mochi are an adorable pair of matching black and white sisters who are waiting to come home with you. Miso is a love. Affectionate and sweet, she loves to be petted and will even let you hold her upside down! With her trademark “moustache and goatee,” she makes the most adorable facial expressions. She has a way of tilting her head to the side when she looks at you that will melt your heart. Mochi is a lap cat. She loves to crawl up on your lap for a nap when you’re sitting on the couch. She also has a feisty personality and will tell you exactly what she thinks. Miso and Mochi hope to be adopted together. The two love cuddling together and even “nurse” on each other for comfort.  Vera is a beautiful calico baby girl who is as loving as she is pretty. Delicate and gentle, she loves to be held and petted and to receive chin scratches and belly rubs. She is outgoing and affectionate with humans and loves other cats and kittens. Vera is also very playful and loves to leap into the air to catch fly toys and to chase her favorite foil ball--growling at any usurpers to demonstrate her clear domination over the shiny toy. Due to her age and energy level, Vera will need a furry friend at her new home, which could be a kitten or cat you already have. Or she has several foster mates with whom she loves to play and cuddle. Elsie is a gorgeous, medium-hair black kitten with just the right amount of cattitude befitting such a beauty. She’s an expert at being cute and flirty and will purr if you even look at her! She loves, loves, loves being held and petted. Elsie likes to explore and play too, yet she thinks a snooze on your lap would be amazing. She can be quite amusing, having whole chatty conversations with herself about Prince Harry Lady Anne around the room.
