Page 8 October 29, 2015 Wowser Schnauzers msfr.org for more information. My name is Licorice and I’m a one-year old male Miniature Schnauzer mix who is black from head to toe! I ended up at a LA County shelter as a stray after I injured my leg while exploring the land. I wasn’t available to be adopted because of my injury so I was rescued by MSFR. I visited their Vet and had X-rays, which revealed no fractures. All I had was a soft tissue injury that has already healed. I’m 13 pounds of sweetness who loves people and some, but not all, dogs. I’m cute as can be with my big brown eyes and would be the perfect pet for your family. If you are interested in Licorice, please email info@msfr.org for more information. If anyone knows why my previous owners would surrender an adorable, 18-month-old Miniature Schnauzer mix to LA city shelter, would you please let me know? Oh by the way, they call me Sammy and no one can figure out why I was unceremoniously dumped. I’m a super nice little guy, I LOVE to play, I get along great with other dogs and I’m just too cute to believe. I may be part poodle – not sure – but I have a very unusual colored coat that’s mostly black with streaks of brindle. I’m only 13 pounds, which makes me very transportable, and I’ll go everywhere with you. While I am a little too energetic and vocal for apartment living I would thrive in a home with a yard and another dog to play with. If you are interested in Sammy please email info@ msfr.org for more information. Licorice is a sweet boy who’s black from head to toe. Sammy is an energetic puppy. My real name is Mozart but my friends call me “Mosey.” I’m a two-year old male Chihuahua mix who was rescued from the San Bernardino shelter. Last year I was adopted with my pal, Pepperoni, but our “parents” returned us when they had to downsize due to a divorce. Neither of us did anything wrong and we were kind of sad to go our separate ways. My pal has been rehomed so now it’s my turn to find Elsa can give lots of love to her new family. Willie would be perfect to cuddle up with. Happy Tails Congratulations to Elsa, our beautiful “frosty white” little gal, and her new family. Elsa was adopted by previous MSFR adopters and joins a six-year old male Miniature Schnauzer at their home in Fullerton. Her new family lost their senior dog in June and was looking for someone special to fill the hole in their hearts. We were thrilled to help them find the perfect match. Wishing them all many happy adventures. We are looking for volunteers to help with our pet adoption fairs which are held every Saturday at the Petco located at 537 N. Pacific Coast Highway Redondo Beach 90277, from noon-3: 30 p.m. If you are interested in volunteering and can commit to at least one Saturday a month, please contact us at info@msfr.org. You can also visit all of our Miniature Schnauzers & Friends rescues at the adoption fair or check out our website, www.msfr.org. If you have any questions about a particular dog’s availability you can email us at  info@msfr.org. Schnauzers! Bet you can’t adopt just one! Hi! I’m Willie and if you’re looking for an “original” you have just found him! I’m a four-year old, male, purebred Miniature Schnauzer who was rescued from a LA County shelter. I went for a walk, got lost and ended up at the shelter - that’s why the folks called me a stray. I was there for two weeks before I was rescued and I got along great with the other dogs. I’ve been told I have a rather unique look – no beard (it will grow back) and a short cut but I have the most awesome brows, the sweetest face and tousled hair on the top of my head. I’m a larger guy at 24 pounds but still a perfect size to share a sofa with. If you are interested in Willie, please email info@ Mozart is sociable and perfectly polite. my forever home. Everyone says that I’m a phenomenal little guy because I’m great on the leash and love to go on walks and runs. I’m happy to ride in the car with you, I’m also crate trained and if that’s not enough, I’m adorable. Currently, I’m living in a cage-free environment that allows me to socialize and I do enjoy playing with my doggie pals. I’m a little overweight but should be back to my ideal weight of 10 pounds before too long. Like most dogs my size, I’m cautious around new people, but for those who have the patience to earn my trust, I exuberantly form deep bonds! Mozart can be seen anytime at Yellow Brick Road Doggie Playcare in El Segundo. Call 310-606-5507 or email southbaydoggie@ hotmail.com for an appointment. Pets can get loose or lost through mishaps and travel quickly. Microchip: it works!
