Page 8 May 26, 2016 Purrrfect Companions Jessabelle Moosh Make a purr-fect match when you adopt a new feline friend. Need your kitten fix? Check out the “kitten cam” in our nursery at http:// explore.org/live-cams/player/kitten-rescue-cam. Jessabelle was rescued from Compton as a young kitten and taken in by a family. After only a few months they turned her back out on the streets when she went into her first heat. Her foster mom was called in to rescue Jessabelle and take her in. She’s a sweet girl who likes to purr all the time and have conversations. You’ll fall in love Jessabelle, a beautiful goofball who loves attention and to play!  Moosh is not only devilishly handsome, but his personality is a treat that can’t be beat.  He’s confident, smart, curious, attentive and probably just a little dog in a big cat’s clothing.  If this sounds like who you’re looking for – read on.  He loves  laps, boxes, soft toys that he can bat around, kisses from head to toe, and staring lovingly into human eyes. Moosh can jump over three feet into the air to catch real and imaginary bugs and toy, just try it. He doesn’t necessarily need another cat around for company, but he’s been with others his whole life and would do okay with one or two.  Sometimes black cats don’t find homes right away, please be the home Moosh has been waiting for.   Jade and her sister Emerald were found by a Good Samaritan when they were only one or two days old.  Someone had thrown them away in a trashcan! They went to an expert bottle feeder, where they thrived.  Because these sisters were bottle fed, Emerald and Jade are incredibly outgoing, love people, and super affectionate.  They would be great for gentle children, or in a busy household. Emerald and Jade get along with other kitties, but have a very strong adverse reaction to dogs.  It is possible that they might adjust to a dog who of purrs and pure love. Little Philippa loves romping, kisses, and heights! She has a high metabolism and must live in an environment where she is allowed to climb. Her favorite pastimes include getting piggyback rides on her foster parent’s shoulders, bird watching, and running on a One Fast Cat Kitty Exercise Wheel. She would love to be adopted with her foster-sister Figaro. Like her foster sister, she has a sensitive stomach and needs a strict raw food diet. These cats and kittens are available for adoption through Kitten Rescue, one of the largest cat rescue groups in Southern California.  All of our kitties are spayed/ neutered, microchipped, tested for FeLV leaves them alone, but they definitely do not want to interact with one.  These girls would adore finding  a home together, even with other kittens in their foster home, they tend to gravitate to each other.  They absolutely cannot be an only kitty in the home, they are too young and need a playful companion to wrestle, chew, and romp with. Louis is a Seal Point Snow Shoe Siamese cat who just celebrated his 2nd birthday. He is a quite a lover who was surrendered by a single mom with two young children living in a one bedroom apartment. Louis is gentle, affectionate and well behaved. Since coming to live in his foster home, his playful, light hearted personality has started to emerge. Louis uses his litter box like a perfect gentleman and eats whatever is presented to him. Not only does he enjoy hanging out with the 8 and 10-year-old daughters in his foster home, he’s relaxed and comfortable around their over excited and curious Chihuaua mix. Help Louis’ birthday celebration continue in a fur-ever home with you. Figaro is a silky soft long-haired tuxedo with a silly and sweet disposition. This little goof ball is mellow, quiet, and inquisitive and with more fluff than she knows what to do with. Figaro is downright adorable and very loving. She likes to be close (especially if you’ve got snacks), but prefers to sit with you rather than on you. She may be low energy, but she loves her toy mice and her little fishing pole toy. Figaro would love to be adopted with her foster-sister Philippa. Her sensitive stomach requires a strict raw food diet. The beautiful Queen Philippa is a slim, sleek, and an oh-so-dainty calico has enough energy and charisma to rule a kingdom. At first she may seem wild and carefree, but as soon as you hold her she melts into a puddle Jade Emerald Figaro and FIV, dewormed and current on their vaccinations.
