If you have any questions about a particular Jack is affectionate and needs a good home. looking my best so it’s no surprise that there wasn’t much interest in adopting me. Secondly, after I was rescued it was discovered that my injury didn’t heal properly so I had to have another surgery on my eye to correct the problem. I have to admit I looked a bit rakish in my “patch” but since I’m all healed, the patch is gone and I’m on a quest to find a new home. I get along great with other dogs but I’m most affectionate with my people and at 22 pounds, I’m the perfect size to accompany you wherever you go. If you’re interested in Jack, please email info@msfr.org for more information. If you’re looking for a nine-year old male purebred Miniatures Schnauzer who is sweet as can be and loves to give kisses just ask for Bosley. I got lost and was taken to a LA county shelter where they called me a stray. No one was interested in adopting me – most likely because I’m not exactly a young pup – but they missed a real gem. I love people and when my rescuers first approached me I was so happy I even kissed them through the bars on my cage. Our Vet examined me and performed some blood work. My senior screen indicates that I’m a healthy mature guy but at 25 pounds I’m a bit on the plump side. After my dental, resulting in 7 teeth being extracted, and a large, fatty lump removed from my side, I am ready to find my forever family. If you are interested in Bosley, please email info@ msfr.org for more information. Hello, my name is Thorin, which is Scandinavian for Thunder. I’m a three-year old male German Shepherd who was rescued from the San Bernardino City shelter the end of June. I currently weigh 66 pounds but when I was found and turned in to the shelter, I was very thin and filthy – a total mess. My ideal weight should be around 80 dog’s availability you can email us at info@msfr.org. Schnauzers! Bet you can’t adopt just one! If you’ve ever seen a cute, fluffy, tiny Ewok, then you’ll be able to recognize me instantly! I’m Herbie, a two-year old male Brussels Griffon mix. I was rescued from a LA county shelter where I was brought in as a stray after being hit by a car.  The good news is that I sustained only soft tissue injuries to my rear legs. I’m all healed now and ready to find my forever home. I’m not a very outgoing guy in fact I’m pretty wary of everyone until I get to know you. Then it’s a totally different story. My foster family can tell you that once I warmed up, which didn’t take long, I could be the poster child for lap dogs. Since I’m just a tiny bit of a boy, weighing 6.5 pounds, snuggling in your lap will be our favorite pastime. If you are interested in Herbie, please email info@msfr.org for more information. They call me Jack and I have had a pretty rough life for a five-year old male Miniature Schnauzer.  First I ended up at a LA city shelter after being hit by a car – there seems to be a lot of that going around. Unfortunately, my left eye had extensive damage and had to be removed while I was at the shelter. I wasn’t Herbie warms up slowly, then he’s all yours. Bosley loves to give kisses. Congratulations to Rhonda and her new Mom. Rhonda, now named Tooty, went to a previous adopter of ours. In fact, over the last 15 years their extended family members have adopted 4 of our rescues! Definitely Schnauzer folks and we love them!! Tooty now lives in Redondo Beach and is looking forward to lots of beach adventure with her “cousin” Muffy (aka Gigi) who was adopted earlier this year. We wish you much happiness. • Be kind. Save a life. Support animal rescue. pounds so you can imagine how emaciated I was. I get along with other dogs and I’m very friendly with people – even those I’ve just met. I’m learning all kinds of skills – leash manners, sit and I even ride calmly in the car. I keep hearing about something called cats and another called children but since I’m not acquainted with those terms, I’m not sure how I would do with those. Thorin can be seen anytime at Yellow Brick Road Doggie Playcare in El Segundo Call 310-606-5507 or email southbaydoggie@hotmail. com for appointment. • Happy Tails Tooty (formerly Rhonda) has a new forever home by the ocean.
