Looking for your purr-fect match? Come and meet this group of canine loving kitties. Pippi and her siblings were rescued from the LA City Shelter system when they were just four weeks old.  Dressed for every occasion from the tips of her white paws to the end of black tail, Pippi is perfect for every home.  She loves to play with toys and is a huge cuddler.  She gets along famously with other cats and absolutely adores dogs!!  Pippi really loves her sister Beatrice; they love each other and spend lots of time in embraces and kisses.  It would be wonderful for them to find a home together, but as long as Pippi has another kitty to play with she will be very happy. Potter is a very sweet but quiet kitty. After taking a few minutes to warm up to you, he is an affectionate boy. Playful and loving, Potter would thrive in an adult home without the commotion of young children. However, he loves dogs and could also be a wonderful companion to a cat-loving canine. When he’s looking for extra cuddles, Potter will nose bump you to gain your attention. Skeeter is another dog-friendly cat. In fact, he really, really loves dogs. Skeeter is also very people oriented especially with teens and adults. This super loving and cuddly guy is bonded to his brother, Shy Guy, but he would be happy to be a buddy to another loving cat. From humans to dogs to cats, Skeeter is your all-round friendly guy. Beatrice is sweet and playful girl, but not a cuddler. What she does like is a good belly rub. Beatrice will first check you out, and then it’s time to play!  This adorable girl is another fan of doggy friends. So whether her new friends are dogs or cats, Beatrice is ready for playtime fun. These kitties are available for adoption Margot was rescued together with her sister Genevieve. After spending sometime in foster care, Genevieve was adopted. Margot moved on to another foster home, so she would have kitty playmate. There she met Aurora and they became instant friends. Happily, when it came time for her adoption, their new family welcomed both Margot and Aurora into their heart and home. Congratulations, Margot and Aurora (and Genevieve) on your purr-fect match! When you adopt a “pet without a partner,” you will forever make a difference in their life and they are sure to make a difference JOZPVSTr Beatrice Do you feel guilty throwing out the wilted lettuce? Feel bad over uneaten bruised apples? What will you do with that overabundance of zucchini from your garden when the neighbors say no more? The bunnies at SPCA would be delighted to help you with your dilemma! The SPCA has a lot of rabbits for adoption and would welcome your donations of “greens,” vegetables, and fruit for their rabbits. (Did you know rabbits love bananas?!) Parsley, carrot tops, spinach, bok choy, squash, and apples are just a few of the many vegetables and fruits they enjoy. So don’t throw out that less-than-perfect produce in your house. Gather it up from your family and neighbors and head over to the SPCA, 12910 Yukon Avenue in Hawthorne. Or maybe you like to adopt a veggieloving friend of your own! Simba is one of the many rabbits waiting for a new home. He loves to cuddle and enjoys the company of people of all ages; he doesn’t seem to mind cats either. For questions or further information, call the SPCA at (310) 676-1149. Pets can get loose or lost through mishaps and travel quickly. Microchip: it works! Be kind. Save a life. Support animal rescue. Donate your leftover greens to the SPCA and feed cute bunnies like Simba.
