During the public hearing at the Dec. 9 board meeting there weren’t any members of the public present but Dr. Morgan shared that district officials have hosted multiple parent conferences to discuss the implementation of a uniform policy. School uniform policies have been a longstanding method for schools to identify their student body on and off campus, during school hours. Persons interested or with concerns are encouraged to contact their school office, or to attend the Jan. 6 public hearing. • Inside This Issue Certified & Licensed Professionals.......................2 Classifieds............................2 Food.......................................5 Hawthorne Happenings....2 Legals................................ 6-7 Pets........................................4 Sports....................................3 Weekend Forecast Friday Mostly Sunny 70˚/52˚ Saturday Sunny 64˚/46˚ Sunday Sunny 61˚/48˚ “It’s not easy because we know that our children have a lot of challenges but we faces these challenges every single day and we have been very successful.”
