Page 8 July 7, 2016 Purrrfect Companions Edith Margarita Add to your summer fun by adding a lifelong friend when you adopt your purr-fect match. Edith is a sweetheart!  She is a soft, quiet girl who likes to be held and played with.  Edith loves her one on one time with you, but she also needs the interaction with another kitten or cat. Edith is good with other cats, friendly dogs and would be best with children over 8 years old. Raquel is a Calico Princess. She’s spunky and unique just like the gorgeous white stripe down her back. This playful little girl loves all sorts of toys, crinkle balls, fuzzy mice and of course shoe laces. She also loves sitting on your shoulder and looking at the world. After a day of playing Raquel loves to settle in for a snuggle and fall asleep on your lap. Scratch her chest or tummy and you’ll be best friends forever. Raquel’s brother, “10K” and she are the perfect pair. He’s a home body and Raquel loves exploring the world around her. They have been living with a pair of big dogs and all get along great. Sometimes she even lets the dog kiss her. However, Raquel still thinks people kisses are the best. 10K is the Prince of Snuggle. Check out his grey and white markings and gorgeous green eyes…pure royalty. 10K has an outgoing, curious personality. But when he’s done exploring, the Prince of Snuggle loves to curl up on your lap or under your chin to nestle in for a long nap. Once he’s up from his nap, 10K will seek you out looking to give you lots of kisses. If you make kissy noises, he will touch his nose to your lips. Rub him under his chin, on his neck, and too. If you adopt her as your furry child, she will give you kisses on the mouth, but most of all Margarita just wants to love and be loved!  Phoebe was rescued from a shelter pregnant with four kitties.   Kitten Rescue saved her, and her babies, for you to take home and love.  Phoebe was a very skinny girl, devoted to giving her kittens all her energy, to feeding and protecting them. She quickly adapted to her new home, coming out of her protective shell, giving head butts, cuddles, and pets. She has a wonderful and playful disposition, gently tapping your foot as you walk by to say ‘hello’.  Even though she is a single mom, Phoebe is still a kitten and it takes just a little playtime to engage her.  This beautiful girl would enjoy sitting on the couch and relaxing with you.  These kitties are available for adoption through Kitten Rescue, one of the largest cat rescue groups in Southern California.  All of our kitties are spayed/neutered, microchipped, tested for FeLV and FIV, dewormed and current on their vaccinations. For additional information and to see these or our other kittens and cats, please check our website www.kittenrescue.org or email us at mail@kittenrescue.org. Your tax deductible donations for the rescue and care of our cats and kittens can be made through our website or by sending a check payable to Kitten Rescue, 914 Westwood Blvd. #583, Los Angeles, CA 90024. On Saturdays, we have adoptions from noon to 3:30 p.m. in Westchester at 8655 Lincoln Blvd. just south of Manchester Ave. and also in Mar Vista at 3860 Centinela Ave, just south of Venice Boulevard.  Our website lists additional adoption sites and directions to each location. • the purring starts as he melts with happiness. 10K and his sister, the Calico Princess are best friends in the home they’ve shared with large dogs and other cats. They are looking for a loving home where they can become part of a family. So if you are looking for a pair of young royals to cuddle with and fall asleep on the couch with while watching movies or playing video games, then 10K and Raquel are a perfect pair. Margarita is a beautiful shiny black Tomboy. She loves to play rough and tumble with her three brothers. After all, she has to  let them know she is superior! After they lost our mother, Margarita and her brothers got to spend the first few weeks of their life at the brand new Kitten Rescue nursery. Being bottle fed, she is very fond of people.  From what Margarita has seen so far, she thinks other kitties and doggies are pretty awesome Raquel Phobe 10k Saving one animal won’t change the world, but the world will surely change for that animal. metro.net/laxconnector We want your feedback on the transit connection to LAX.
