Ana Isabel Ibarra Earns Kiwanis Good Citizen Award On Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at 5:30 p.m., while working at the Union ‘76 Gas Station, Ana Isabel Ibarra observed a subject checking the doors of her supervisor’s vehicle. The suspect then moved to the driver’s door and pried open a sliding window. He entered the vehicle and took property. Ibarra used her phone to video record the suspect. After he walked away, Ibarra notified her supervisor of what had transpired. Thursday, December 8 One male and one female adult were arrested at 0222 hours from the 500 block of North Sepulveda Boulevard for identity theft. Two male adults were arrested at 0834 hours from Imperial Avenue and Hillcrest Street for possession of stolen property and possession of burglary tools. A stolen vehicle recovery report was taken at 1350 hours from the 200 block of Maryland Street. Recovered was a 2016 Nissan Altima that was reported stolen out of Riverside PD. An online petty theft report was taken at 1023 hours on 12/06/16 from the 900 block of McCarthy Court. Christmas decorations were taken from the front yard of the victim’s residence. An online lost property report was taken at 1246 hours on 12/06/16 from Grand Avenue and Standard Street. A pink make up bag containing prescription medication was lost at the location. Friday, December 9 One female adult was arrested at 0545 hours from LAPD 77th Division for one outstanding El Segundo PD felony warrant. A burglary (commercial) report was taken at 0644 hours from the 700 block of North Douglas Street. Unknown suspect(s) gained entry into a business and stole money. A found property report was taken at 1113 hours from the 300 block of Main Street. A wallet was found. A found property report was taken at 1114 hours from the 300 block of Main Street. One male adult was arrested at 2352 hours from the 300 block of North Sepulveda Boulevard for inflicting corporal injury to his spouse and misdemeanor DUI. Saturday, December 10 Traffic accident (no injuries) occurred at 0054 hours in the 500 block of North Sepulveda Boulevard, vehicle versus vehicle. Traffic accident (no injuries) occurred at 0148 hours in the 600 block of Illinois Court, vehicle versus parked vehicle. Petty theft occurred between 12/10/16 and 12/11/16 in the 1100 block of East Acacia Boulevard. Unknown suspect(s) stole miscellaneous items from an unlocked vehicle. Dead body report was taken at 0947 hours in the 600 block of Whiting Street. An adult male passed away. Traffic accident (with injuries) occurred at 1214 hours in the intersection of Mariposa Avenue and Nash Street, vehicle versus vehicle. Traffic accident (with injuries) occurred at 1246 hours in the 700 block of South Sepulveda Boulevard, vehicle versus vehicle.
