EL SEGUNDO HERALD October 1, 2015 Page 7 Eagles from page 5 Darin Glotz described as “a tough and hard fought game.”  The win may have come at a price when Mason Susich was injured protecting his quarterback who was scrambling on a broken play . The extent of the injury, at this point, is unknown. Boys’ Water Polo The third ranked Eagles have improved to 12-2 on the season. Glynn bested second place finisher Jonathon Cohen from Beverly Hills by 38 seconds. Though Glynn won the race, the Normans won the team title over the Eagles. The girls’ team has a young talented team. Nikki Fulcomer, just a freshman, paced the course while sophomore sensation Grace Hoffman placed third. Senior Brianna Harmon, freshman Gabby Lee, senior Genevieve Johnson, sophomore Karina Kramer and senior Brenna Yob all finished in the top twenty. Both boys’ and girls’ JV teams easily came away with wins. Oliver Chen, Anthony Waites, Kevin McMullin, Elliot Bijlsma and Noah Fenton finished second through sixth to pace the boys’ team.
