EL SEGUNDO HERALD June 22, 2017 Page 17 Saving one animal won’t change the world, but the world will surely change for that animal. a buddy. Sandra would love to be adopted with one of her sisters (Eden, Cynthia, Jasmin,   Evelyn  or  Esther) or be placed in a household with an existing cat. Sandra’s sister Jasmin is a very sweet, cuddly, gentle, independent girl. She will be on your lap one minute, exploring the house the next and then crashing on top of her favorite spot on the bookcase. Because she is so beautiful, Jasmin believes she should never have to return to school—but can instead get by on her looks. Like her sisters, she gets along great with dogs and other cats at their foster home. Rascal is a playful and loving, black and white tuxedo baby boy. He loves to wrestle, play soccer with his toys and play chase with another kitty. He’s learning to climb and is a curious explorer. Rascal is also very much a lap kitty. After playtime, he likes to snuggle on your lap. Rascal is full of energy, but also likes to cuddle with you. At night, you’ll find him curled up by your side. He’s a smart little love who will make you laugh. Rascal would do best with another playmate, or at least Peanut Be kind. Save a life. Support animal rescue. Adopt a cat cuz cats are cool. A cat (or two) makes every house more fun! Here are just a few of our cool cats (and kittens). Looking for the purrfect pair of kitties? Purdy and Lucas can’t wait to meet you! This precious pair met in foster care and are head over tail for each other! Sweet kitten Purdy, rescued with her family at just a few days old, would adore being adopted with her new brother--one-year old-Lucas. She is obsessed with him, follows his every step, and is attached at the hip. Purdy is shy, but very, very sweet. She loves cats more than life itself and wants nothing more than to cuddle with a buddy all day. Purdy will come to you for lap time once she is comfortable with you and would do best in a quiet, calm household. Lucas is a stunning one-year-old boy, rescued off the streets as a teenager. He is both playful and steady as a rock. His sweet demeanor is a perfect balance for Purdy’s playful antics. He plays big brother to her and is your “instant gratification” kitty, confident and loving with people. He can’t wait to find a forever family, hopefully with his new baby sister Purdy. Check this pair out on You Tube--https://www.youtube. com/watch?v=S7CD9zcec6o and give these guys a home! Sandra and her sisters were living with their mom at a school where a Kitten Rescue volunteer went and got them out. Sandra is a gorgeous, white kitten who is very sweet, loving and adventurous. You also can’t tell from her photo, but she has one blue eye and one brown eye! She currently lives with several dogs and cats and loves each of them, especially the pit bull. Because of her young age, she needs an adult “mentor” who can show him the ropes of being a cat. Peanut is a perfect lap kitten. Wherever you sit down, he will come over to play or nap in your lap. He’s also perfectly happy to play or snuggle with one of his siblings. Peanut is a very unique orange cat in that his coat is almost one smooth color with very minimal striping. He is absolutely gorgeous and has a personality to match! He is currently being fostered with his three siblings (Pippi, Parker and Paddy). Peanut is too young to be adopted as a solo kitten, but he would love to be adopted with one of his siblings, or into your family if you already have a kitty for him to join. Short for pipsqueak, Pippi is the only girl in her litter and smallest of the four, but she has the biggest spirit. She is so curious, engaged, snuggly and sweet. She is the perfect kitten, and is gorgeous to boot. Like her three brothers (Parker, Peanut and Paddy), Pippi is too young to be adopted as a solo kitten, but she would love to be adopted with one of her siblings or into a home with another kitty. These kitties are available for adoption through Kitten Rescue, one of the largest cat rescue groups in Southern California. All our kitties are spayed/neutered, microchipped, tested for FeLV and FIV, dewormed and current on their vaccinations.
