An annoying phone calls report was taken at 0937 hours from the 2000 block of East Imperial Highway. One female adult was arrested at 1045 hours from the 400 block of Kansas Street for two outstanding El Segundo PD misdemeanor warrants. One male adult was arrested at 1101 hours from LAPD for two outstanding El Segundo PD misdemeanor warrants. Traffic accident (with injuries) occurred at 1513 hours at South Aviation Boulevard and East Rosecrans Avenue. Vehicle versus vehicle. One male adult was arrested at 1626 hours from the 700 block of South Sepulveda Boulevard for one outstanding El Segundo PD misdemeanor warrant. A forgery report was taken at 1703 hours from the 700 block of Bayonne Street. Unknown suspect(s) opened up credit card accounts in the victim’s name. One male adult was arrested at 1925 hours from Douglas Street and Mariposa Avenue for misdemeanor driving while intoxicated with a BAC over .08%. Friday, May 19 One male adult and one female adult were arrested at 0410 hours from Imperial Avenue and California Street for grand theft auto. A hit and run occurred at 0801 hours in the intersection of Sheldon Street and Oak Avenue, vehicle versus skateboarder. A rape report was taken at 1131 hours from the 1900 block of East Mariposa Avenue. A larceny report was taken at 1458 hours from the 100 block of North Sepulveda Boulevard. Unknown suspect(s) defrauded the victim’s online rewards website. A burglary (auto) report was taken at 2024 hours from the 700 block of North Sepulveda Boulevard. Unknown suspect smashed the driver’s side window to gain entry into the Oren Harry Randall, 87, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2017 in South Jordan, Utah. He was born March 21, 1930 in El Segundo, California to Joseph and Vera Randall. He married his sweetheart, Emily Venita Walker, on January 14, 1952 in the St. George, Utah LDS Temple. Oren was a lifelong resident of El Segundo and worked at Chevron Refinery for 37 years. Oren (Randy) was always a hard worker and a friend to everyone. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Venita, daughter Linda Renee and grandson Jason. He is survived by his kids Ron Randall (DaWanda), Tim Randall (Julie), Jill Brown, Sandy Schwieger (Rich), Kelly Simpson (Mike), Dixie Campbell, Chuck Dyhre (Tracy) and 27 grandkids, 52 ½ great-grandkids, and 7 greatgreat grandkids. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1215 E. Mariposa St., El Segundo, CA. • See Police Reports, page 17
