Page 6 May 14, 2015 EL SEGUNDO HERALD School Board from front page proved that she was the best selection to lead Richmond Street as a Principal. I am confident in Dr. Lee’s leadership to serve the students and families. Three strengths Dr. Lee possesses include: she has grit, an internal strength to overcome obstacles, is compassionate, and is a relationship builder. These three strengths will serve her well and contribute to her success.” During the special presentations, nine students were recognized for placing first in the debate portion of the 2nd Port of Los Angeles International Economic Summit. The competition is designed to get the students interested in the interconnected nature of countries, to learn more about the effects of imports and exports, and to see that there are many similar challenges that connect all nationalities. The Summit required the students to learn the economics as well as the history of the countries that they represent, to develop a strategic plan for improvement, visit a pressing issue with a proposed solution, and to trade for what their country needs to improve the overall quality of life for its citizens. High School Business Pathways teacher Bonnie Mae served as the faculty advisor for the students taking part in the competition. “We really didn’t know what to expect, so we prepared as quickly as we could and just PUBLIC NOTICES PUBLISH YOUR PUBLIC NOTICES HERE ABANDONMENTS: $125.00 ABC NOTICES: $125.00 DBA (Fictitious Business Name): $75.00 NAME CHANGE: $125.00 Other type of notice?
