Many winners of this year’s “Best of the Best” wanted to thank the community for their votes and for their commitment to doing business in El Segundo. Something new: Any “Best of the Best” winners that win for five or more consecutive years get a “Gold Winner” heading on their certificate. Winners that win for 10 or more consecutive years receive a “Platinum Winner” heading on their certificate. This year, we asked the participants in our “Best of the Best” section to send us little tidbits about themselves. Enjoy! Lynn O’Neil: (Gold Winner) Lynn O’Neil has been a real estate fixture in El Segundo since 1985- over 31 years. Lynn grew up in El Segundo and appreciates everything our wonderful town has to offer. She graduated from ESHS in 1980, and then went on to graduate from Loyola Marymount University in 1984. While at LMU, she got her brokers license and the rest is history. She went to work full-time at Shorewood and has been helping buyers and sellers ever since. Real estate has been a very satisfying career choice for Lynn since she is a people person and gets great satisfaction in helping people achieve their dream of owning a home in El Segundo. “The best part of my job is to see the smiles on clients faces when I can hand them the keys to their new home”. Much of Lynn’s business comes from referrals of satisfied clients. Lynn has also made many a seller happy with achieving record-setting prices for their homes. “ El Segundo has such a wonderful home-town community feeling, and the top-notch El Segundo schools, make selling El Segundo real estate easy. Lynn says the hard part is finding sellers who want to sell. The community is so unique and there really is no place like it anywhere in Los Angeles.
